1st Session of the Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment regarding the change of the receiving LNG Terminal on the Island of Krk by introducing floating phase of the terminal for receiving, storing and regasifying of LNG

On Friday, 22.09.2017, in Omišalj on the Island of Krk, the first session of the Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment was held regarding the change of the receiving LNG terminal on the Island of Krk by introducing floating phase of the terminal for receiving, storing and regasifying of LNG.

Developer of the Environmental Impact Study regarding the change of the receiving LNG terminal on the island of Krk by introducing floating phase of the terminal for receiving, storing and regasifying of LNG, authorized company EKONERG d.o.o. from Zagreb, presented the results of the Study to the members of the Commission and a site tour was conducted under the guidance of LNG Hrvatska d.o.o. followed by the discussion of the members of the Commission.

In the further course of the procedure, the Developer will respond within a reasonable time to the questions and comments of the members of the Commission, and amend the Study in accordance with the accepted comments. At the invitation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, the 2nd Session of the Commission will be held.

LNG Hrvatska d.o.o. will regularly publish on its web site the information on the further course of the Environmental Impact Assessment process.

Action "Studies for the LNG terminal Krk FSRU solution" is co-financed by the European Union's Connecting Europe Facility Programme.
